Stephanie Quirk
Stephanie Quirk joined the FOX6 News team in April 2023, and is proud to call Milwaukee her new home!
Although she was raised in the Chicago suburbs, Stephanie has always considered herself a cheesehead at heart, as her parents grew up in Wauwatosa and Oconomowoc. In fact, her family says the pressure is already on to find the best Friday fish fry in the area!
Stephanie graduated in 2021 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with a bachelor's degree in journalism and specialization in community health. Prior to her role at FOX6, Stephanie was a multimedia journalist and Saturday anchor at WIFR News in Rockford, Illinois. There, she broke the news about an investigation into the village president who had been accused of stealing thousands from the American Legion, and was featured on the Crime Stories with Nancy Grace podcast to shed light on a missing persons case. Stephanie also helped break the news about the first abortion clinic opening in northern Illinois after Roe v. Wade was overturned, along with several legal battles over it.
Stephanie's love for storytelling and journalism comes from her passion for people. Stephanie is so excited to meet everyone in the community, and is driven to tell stories that matter!
