Volunteers work at Milwaukee Brewing Company, for free!

A group of volunteers is working to help the Milwaukee Brewing Company. Yes, they are volunteers!

About a 16 people spend Thursday morning volunteering their time and effort to repackage 14 pallets of product at the Milwaukee Brewing Company. They work for free because they say what they get in return is more valuable.

The connection also involves people from other small businesses, helping each other to do bigger things.

Jim McCabe is the brewery owner. He says, "What you see, here is the kind of energy that gets things done."

He explains the latest trend in the craft-brewery industry involves variety packs. They are a combination of random beers into one pack. McCabe also partnered with a local agency, Translator, to develop the new "Potluck" packaging, which is based on design suggestions which come from the community.
