Slick conditions in Waukesha County keep tow drivers busy

WAUKESHA COUNTY -- The roads in southeast Wisconsin were covered with snow for most of the afternoon on Friday, making for some very slippery conditions, and Waukesha County was no exception!

While most drivers probably weren't too happy with the conditions, some towing companies were. They saw lots of business once the snow picked up Friday afternoon.

FOX6 followed Tim Bopp from Express Towing and Recovery on Friday. He said he started his day at 6 a.m. and was still helping out drivers at 6 p.m.! "It`s been spinouts, accidents, tire changes, jumpstarts and numerous people just needed help everywhere around the county," Bopp said.

One woman Bopp towed said she spun her car around twice on Highway 45, and then crashed into a guardrail. Her car looked okay at first, but she couldn't drive it because of a flat tire.

It was slow going throughout southeastern Wisconsin during the evening commute on Friday after snow fell through most of the day.
