Several UW campuses are issuing free Voter ID cards to students. Starting January 23, multiple UW campuses will start issuing Voter ID cards to students upon request.

The State Government Accountability Board has given the ID cards the final approval. The Voter ID cards are different from regular student ID cards.

Students can request a Voter ID card from the Student Services Office on their campus after the spring semester starts, January 23. Students wanting a Voter ID card need to provide both verification of enrollment, along with a photo ID that is approved for voting.
