Milwaukee Navy Week coming in August 2012

MILWAUKEE — The Brew City has been chosen as one of 15 cities where America’s Navy will come home in 2012.

Milwaukee Navy Week is scheduled for August 6th through the 13th, and will commemorate the bicentennial of the War of 1812.

Milwaukee residents will get the chance to meet sailors, and learn about the Navy and how they help protect the country.
