Northwestern Mutual has launched a national search to find thousands of new financial representatives, while Ace Distribution in New Berlin plans to layoff 32 workers.

The life insurance and financial services firm, Northwestern Mutual, says it is embarking on its largest recruiting effort ever this year. The goal is to add more than 2,000 financial representatives and 3,000 interns.

A layoff notice has been filed with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development by Ace Distribution to layoff 32 workers, citing a reduction in business.

The layoffs will happen between March 30th and April 13th.

Ace is a distribution company, and one of its biggest clients is Harley-Davidson.
