Brown Deer man charged with shooting brother with shotgun
Duvante Taylor
BROWN DEER — A Brown Deer man is facing two felonies and a misdemeanor charge after shooting his brother with a shotgun.
Duvante Taylor and his brother apparently got into an argument. They were arguing because Duvante regularly wore his brother’s clothes and jewelry.
The criminal complaint says, “In anger, (Taylor) armed himself with a 12-gauge shotgun and fired the gun (at his brother) through a bedroom door.” The brother was hit in the right leg.
The brother was taken by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital to be treated for his injury.
Taylor now faces charges of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, use of a dangerous weapon – domestic abuse, and a misdemeanor bail jumping charge.
If convicted, Taylor faces up to a year in prison and $25,000 in fines.
