Wis. Black Chamber of Commerce holds luncheon, talks jobs

MILWAUKEE -- The Wisconsin Black Chamber of Commerce held a luncheon Wednesday afternoon to talk about jobs in Milwaukee.

The Chamber's goal is to provide work for people in the minority communities by helping entrepreneurs and business owners get started.

Commerce President Steven Mussenden says President Obama's visit to Master Lock Wednesday afternoon will help bring jobs to the area.

"It's good that Wisconsin's being put on the map, and the template that the president is providing gives all the manufacturers and employers an opportunity to see that. It's a challenging battle, but I think we can, if we have the assurance of organizations such as the Wisconsin Black Chamber that the job structure can definitely increase in the coming months," Mussenden said.

The Chamber says one of the big keys to success is networking.
