Chilton police searching for armed robbery suspect
CHILTON — The Chilton Police Department is asking for your help finding an armed robbery suspect. Officials say a male suspect robbed a Walgreens store located in the city of Chilton Tuesday evening.
Police say the suspect approached the pharmacy inside Walgreens, handed the pharmacist a bag, and then instructed the pharmacist to fill the bag with narcotics. Police say the suspect was displaying what was believed to be a handgun inside a plastic bag. During the robbery the suspect threatened to kill the pharmacist.
After the robbery, the suspect fled the store on foot and is believed to have had a vehicle parked a short distance away from the Walgreens. Witnesses indicate the male suspect entered a white vehicle, possibly a Ford Tempo.
The suspect is said to be a Caucasian male, approximately six feet tall, and possibly in his early 20s.
Citizens with any information are urged to call the Calumet County Crime Stoppers Line at 877-765-8327. Persons calling with credible information leading to a conviction may be eligible for a cash reward.
