Charles Miller (2-25-12)

MILWAUKEE -- Investigators say 24-year-old Charles Miller attacked a woman who cared for him, and now, there's concern about what he might do if confronted by a stranger.

U.S. Marshals say the incident began with alcohol - a half-liter of liquor that led to battery charges. "First, it involved drinking, and he also has a drug problem. One thing led to another, and he ended up hitting her in the head," James Thomas with the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office said.

A brandy bottle was used as a weapon, and investigators say Miller has a history of domestic violence.

Thomas says Miller was living with his girlfriend in a home off of 54th Street. Court documents say he was recently released from jail, and despite a history of domestic violence, his girlfriend allowed him to be placed on house arrest in her home.

The criminal complaint says on February 1st, Miller drank too much brandy, became ill, and when he woke up, words about another woman turned into violence against the woman he was living with. The brandy bottle broke through her skin, and officials say Miller also hit her with a DVD player. The victim was left with a concussion, and Miller fled.

Charles Miller is wanted in connection with a substantial battery in a domestic violence case.

Miller is described as 5'9'' inches tall, and weighing about 170 pounds. Some of his nicknames include "fish" and "god's child."

He has a tattoo of a cross and that nick-name "god's child" on his left forearm. If you've seen him U.S. Marshals want to hear from you. Their number is 414-297-3707.
