Medical examiner's report, 911 call on train accident released

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner released on Tuesday its report on the 11-year-old victim of the train accident that happened in Wauwatosa Monday.

The report says Joey Kramer was walking to school when he was struck by a freight train near 68th and State. Kramer was a student at Longfellow Middle School -- and normally walks to school.

Kramer was walking northbound at the time of the accident Monday morning. The train operators say he was walking with his head down and hood up over his head. As the train approached, the train operators blew the train's whistle several times. But Kramer who was wearing ear buds, walked across the tracks with his head down the entire time.
