Jennings, Gooden help Bucks stop 76ers

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Bucks opened a make or break three-game set at home with a 97-93 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night; Brandon Jennings led the way with 33 points; the point guard scored 19 of those in the first quarter.

The host coughed up a 9 point lead, but took an 8 point advantage on the strength of a 15-0 run late in the 3rd quarter and into the final 12 minutes.  Philly came back to tie matters before Beno Udrih's basket put Scott Skiles team ahead for good.

Drew Gooden scored 25 points and had 10 rebounds.  Ersan Ilyasova added 11 points, 18 boards.

The Chicago Bulls come to town on Wednesday night.
