Cudahy police investigate Speedway robbery

CUDAHY — The Cudahy Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred at a Speedway near Pennsylvania Ave in Cudahy.

At 3:52 a.m. Wednesday Cudahy police responded to a 911 call made from the attendant at the Speedway located at 6265 S. Pennsylvania Ave.

Authorities say the Speedway attendant was not harmed and no weapon was used during the robbery. The suspect took an unknown amount of money from the register and fled the scene. Officials say the suspect appeared to have acted alone.

Cudahy police say the investigation is ongoing.
