MU men’s basketball team gets sweet send-off Tuesday

MILWAUKEE — The Marquette Golden Eagles men’s basketball team will get a sweet send-off on Tuesday — as the team heads to Phoenix for the next round of the NCAA tournament.

The Marquette campus, long with the band, cheerleaders and Golden Eagle mascot, will gather at the Al McGuire Center (770 N. 12th St.) at 1:30 p.m.

The Golden Eagles will take on Florida at 9:17 p.m. CDT on Thursday, March 22nd.

On Thursday, the Union Sports Annex, 729 N. 16^th St., will open at 4:30 to host a viewing party with fan giveaways. The “Sweet Repeat” website has a complete list of game watching parties and NCAA tournament conversations on social media.
