Milwaukee County looking to hire 250 lifeguards

MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee County Parks System is looking to fill its ranks with 250 lifeguards for the summer season.  Though experience is preferred, the Parks Aquatics Department will train the right individuals ages 16 and above.

The final lifeguard training class for 2012 will start on Tuesday, April 17th at Pulaski Indoor Pool (2701 S 16th St.). Starting pay for lifeguards is $9.86 per hour. Trained lifeguards will be needed at the following Milwaukee County Parks swimming locations:

          • Bradford Beach
          • Cool Waters Aquatic Park – Greenfield Park
          • Holler Pool
          • Hales Corners Pool
          • Jackson Pool
          • Pelican Cove Aquatic Park in Kosciuszko Park
          • McCarty Pool
          • Grobschmidt Pool
          • Sheridan Pool
          • Washington Pool
          • Wilson Pool
          • Pulaski Indoor Pool
          • Noyes Indoor Pool
          • David F. Schulz Aquatic Center in Lincoln Park
