DALLAS (CNN) -- Some 500 flights that were supposed to leave Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and Dallas Love Field were grounded Wednesday. This, after heavy storms with up to baseball size hail damaged hundreds of planes.
Take a look at this video from CNN iReporter, Eric Gould. He was on a plane at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport when it started to hail. You can hear the hail hitting the body of the plane.
Gould says the 10 minute deluge was deafening and frightening.
The plane eventually went back to the gate and the flight canceled, while the plane was inspected for damage.
