Racine man found guilty of beating wife with hammer
RACINE -- The man accused of beating his wife with a hammer went before a judge Tuesday, April 17th.
Marlon Duffie was found guilty on amended charges of first and second-degree recklessly endangering safety and substantial battery.
Police say Duffie got into an argument with his wife outside the Piggly Wiggly store in Racine last summer, grabbed a hammer and nearly beat Delicia Duffie to death while his two children watched.
Duffie will be sentenced in June.
