Packers Annual Shareholders Meeting planned for July 24th

GREEN BAY -- The Green Bay Packers are holding their annual shareholders meeting on July 24th at 9:30 a.m. at Lambeau Field. The Packers organization says the meeting is happening rain or shine.

There are a few changes to this year's program, like the exclusion of the choice to bring guests. In the past, shareholders could bring up to four guests to the annual shareholders meeting. The Packers say this change in policy is meant to accommodate a large increase in shareholders.

“We want to make sure we have the ability to welcome the shareholders who plan to come, and this will help us accommodate the increased attendance,” Murphy said. “These next couple years will see us transition to our much larger ownership group. After we see our attendance patterns for a year or two, we’ll be able to reevaluate the guest aspect for future meetings.”

The official notices being sent out sometime in June will include instructions on how to access proxy materials and vote online.
