Local football Star Zeitler drafted by Bengals
NEW YORK, N.Y. — Waukesha native Kevin Zeitler, the former Wisconsin Lutheran H.S. and Wisconsin Badgers All-American was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals with the 27th pick of the NFL draft on Thursday night, April 26th in New York.
Zeitler, a versatile offensive lineman, went one pick before the Packers chose USC defensive lineman/linebacker Nick Perry.
Ironically, both players are represented by Joe Panos — another former area high school star who played offensive line for the Badgers, and in the NFL.
