Racine police search for suspect in attempted homicide

RACINE -- Racine police are looking for the public's help in solving an attempted homicide that took place late Friday evening, April 26th.

Officers responded to the intersection of Geneva and Hamilton just after 11 p.m. Friday. They found a 15-year-old boy who had suffered a gunshot wound to his face. He was taken to Wheaton-Franciscan All Saints Emergency Room -- and later taken to Children's Hospital. His injuries are not considered life threatening.

Initial reports show the teen was seated inside a parked car at a home on Geneva St. when he was shot. But little more is known.
