Milwaukee police investigate two shooting incidents

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are investigating two shootings that occurred Wednesday night, May 2nd on Burleigh Street.

Officials say the first shooting happened near 42nd and Burleigh around 9:00 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities say a 27-year-old man was shot in the arm. Police have made an arrest in this case.

The second shooting incident happened near 15th and Burleigh around 11:00 p.m. Wednesday. Police say a 19-year-old man was shot in the elbow. No arrests have been made in this case.

Milwaukee police continue to investigate both shooting incidents.
