Four fire departments battle house fire in Franklin after lightning strike
FRANKLIN — Four fire departments battled a house fire in the 9700 block of South 35th Street in Franklin Sunday night, May 6th.
It happened just before 7:30 p.m., and fire officials say they believe the fire was due to a lightning strike.
When firefighters arrived on the scene, flames were coming from the roof of the house.
Damage to the residence is estimated at $150,000.
