Mark Neumann submits papers for U.S. Senate seat

MADISON -- Republican candidate for U.S. Senate Mark Neumann turned in his nomination papers to the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board in Madison Tuesday, May 22nd.

Neumann is the second Senate candidate to submit papers. Eric Hovde turned in his papers two weeks ago.

Besides Neumann and Hovde, there are two other Republicans in the race - Tommy Thompson and Jeff Fitzgerald.

The lone Democrat in the race is Tammy Baldwin.

The Senate seat is currently held by the retiring Herb Kohl.
