Concerned citizen helps officer arrest five burglary suspects

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police officials say officers and civilians worked together Friday, May 25th to get five burglars out of one neighborhood.

On Friday, four District 7 police officers responded to a report of an entry to a home in the 3100 block of N. 35th St. at 2:05 p.m. The suspects entered the victim’s home through a stairwell window and took two televisions without the victim’s consent.

A neighbor saw the suspects in his back yard with the televisions and he followed them and called the police. The suspects ran inside a house as they were being chased by police officers.

Five suspects were arrested. The actions of these officers as well as a concerned citizen lead to the capture of burglary suspects.
