Milwaukee police investigate three shooting incidents Saturday

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating three shooting incidents that occurred overnight, Saturday, May 26th.

The first incident occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. Police say a 17-year-old male was shot to the right foot by a known suspect who is also 17 years old.  The incident occurred on a porch in the 3200 block of N. 45th St.  Early investigation by District 7 officers and detectives revealed that there had been an ongoing feud for at least the past several days. Officers arrested a suspect in this incident.

The second incident occurred at approximately 6:25 p.m. A double shooting occurred in the 3600 block of W. Galena.  A 21-year-old male sustained a gunshot wound to the left knee and a 29-year-old victim sustained a gunshot wound to the right bicep and abdomen areas.  The victims are brothers and both have open warrants for their arrest.  A lone suspect, who was possibly armed with a large-caliber revolver, fired several shots at the victims while they were seated in a minivan.  Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.  District 3 officers and detectives are investigating.  The suspect is not yet known.

The third incident occurred at about 1:45 a.m. Sunday, May 27th when a 25-year-old male victim of a shooting was driven by an acquaintance to a local hospital. He sustained a gunshot graze wound to the head.  His injury is not life-threatening.  Officers from District 5  and detectives are searching the scene, attempting to discover suspect information and motive.  The victim has a violent and extensive arrest record with the Milwaukee Police Department.
