SUV driver killed in two-vehicle crash on Highway 33

ALLENTON -- Officials were on the scene Monday afternoon, June 4th investigating a two-vehicle crash on Highway 33, west of Allenton. Officials say one driver was killed in this crash.

Officials say an SUV traveling westbound on Highway 33 crossed into the path of a Veolia truck. Both vehicles ended up in the ditch, and the SUV caught fire.

The driver of the SUV, a 48-year-old man from West Bend, was killed. His name has not yet been released. The man was the sole occupant of the SUV.

The driver of the Veolia truck was not injured.

Officials continue to investigate this crash, but say alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
