OAK CREEK -- Governor Scott Walker made his first post-recall election stop in Oak Creek Wednesday morning, June 6th. Gov. Walker celebrated his win over Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett with supporters in Waukesha Tuesday night.

On Wednesday, Gov. Walker's first order of business was visiting Steelwind Industries in Oak Creek.

After Gov. Walker's visit to Steelwind Industries he was expected to meet with members of his cabinet at the Capitol to discuss the future of Wisconsin.

In an interview, Walker said it was time “to put our differences aside and find ways to work together to move Wisconsin forward.”

The governor said he planned to invite lawmakers to meet as soon as next week over burgers and brats to discuss ways to bridge the political divide.
