Bicyclist killed in Sheboygan County identified as Troy Tousey

TOWN OF MOSEL (AP) -- 48-year-old Troy Tousey of Sheboygan was stuck and killed by a motorist while riding his bicycle in the Town of Mosel Wednesday, June 6th.

Sheboygan County Sheriff's officials say Tousey was hit near the intersection of County Road Y and Rowe Road around 7 p.m. Investigators say the driver of a Buick Century is responsible -- a 67-year-old man from Sheboygan. 

Tousey was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, but later died.

Tousey was a small business owner and vice president of the Etude Group that oversees a number of Sheboygan's charter schools.

This crash is being investigated by the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department and Wisconsin State Patrol.

It is unclear at this time whether the driver will face any charges.
