24-year-old man shot in eye on city’s north side

MILWAUKEE — A 24-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot in the eye late Monday night, June 11th on the city’s north side.
Police say the man was shot once in the right eye at the corner of 39th Street and W. Galena Street around 11 p.m.
The man was transported to Froedert Hospital. Officials say the victim is expected to survive his injuries.
The shooting incident remains under investigation by the Milwaukee Police Department.
