Police seek help in Pleasant Prairie hit-and-run case

PLEASANT PRAIRIE -- Police are asking for the public's help in solving a hit-and-run case in Pleasant Prairie.

The incident occurred on Monday, June 11 just after 9 p.m. on southbound Sheridan Road near the intersection of 116th Street. 

Police say a motorcyclist was stopped and waiting to make an eastbound turn onto 116th Street when the motorcyclist was struck from behind by a southbound vehicle.

A witness reported the vehicle was dark-colored and had front-end damage.

The vehicle that struck the motorcycle failed to stop, and left the scene heading southbound on Sheridan Road.

The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike and taken to Kenosha Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
