Heat Survive Thunder, Even NBA Finals

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA  --  LeBron James asked for help;  Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh provided it, and the Miami Heat escaped  the Thunder with a 100-96 win in game two of the NBA Finals in Oklahoma City.  The best of seven series is tied at a game apiece.

James scored 32 points; Wade rebounded from a sub par performance in game one with 24, and the Heat built a huge early lead before holding off a furious fourth quarter comeback by the hosts.  Chris Bosh had 16 points and 15 rebounds in his return to the starting lineup.

Kevin Durant led the way again with 32 points for the Thunder, but he missed a late shot to tie when it appeared he was fouled by James.  Russell Westbrook added 27.

Oklahoma City lost at home for the first time in 10 postseason games. The next 3 games will be played in Miami.
