Three men shot in two separate shooting incidents on city's north side

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police say three men were shot in two separate shooting incidents late Thursday night, June 14th and early Friday morning on the city's north side.

The first incident was a double shooting that occurred shortly before 11 p.m. Thursday near 37th and Townsend. Milwaukee police say a 32-year-old man and a 36-year-old man were sitting on a porch when they were approached and robbed by three suspects.

During the robbery both men were shot. The 32-year-old man was shot once in the foot. Officials say he is in stable condition. The 36-year-old man was shot several times and sustained life threatening injuries.

Police say both victims were transported to St. Joseph's Hospital. Authorities say the 36-year-old victim's condition worsened and he was transferred to Froedert Hospital.

The second shooting incident occurred near 5th and W. Vienna around 1:30 a.m. Friday. Police say a man was sitting in his vehicle when he was shot multiple times. Authorities say the man was rushed to Froedert Hospital with life threatening injuries.

There is no word on a motive in this case.

At this time officials have not indicated if there are any suspects in custody.

Milwaukee police say both shooting incidents remain under investigation.
