Two shot while sitting on porch at Milwaukee home

MILWAUKEE -- Two men were shot and wounded while sitting on a porch near 37th and Townsend in Milwaukee late Wednesday, June 13th. This, after three men approached the porch and robbed them.

One man was shot once and is in stable condition. The second man was shot several times -- and is now being treated for life-threatening injuries.

Fanchon Boyette lives across the street. She could hear the gunfire and saw the commotion moments after the shooting.

"There was an old-model brown car parked between my house and the next house and kids were getting in and out of that and I assumed that the injured party was probably laying in the backseat," Boyette said.

Boyette's car was also caught in the crossfire.

Police stayed on the scene throughout the early hours Friday, June 15th searching for the suspects. They were not found.
