PEWAUKEE — Officials say a 42-year-old Hartland man was killed in a single motorcycle crash just before 7:30 p.m. Sunday, June 17th on Capitol Drive, west of Yench Road.

Officials at the scene found the man lying next to his motorcycle in a yard on the north side of the roadway.

Flight for Life was called to the scene, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials say the man was not wearing a helmet.

The initial investigation indicates the motorcycle was traveling westbound on Capitol Drive. It appears the operator lost control of the motorcycle, slid down the roadway and came to rest in a yard.

Investigators say speed appears to be a factor in the crash.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
