Brewers, Waste Management host free eCycling event
MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Brewers and Waste Management are making it easy to clear out your electronic clutter at a free eCycling event.
Drop off up to five unwanted household electronics for recycling at no charge from 8 a.m. until noon on Thursday, June 21.
The first 500 participants bringing electronic recyclables will score a 2-for-1 ticket voucher for a Brewers versus Astros game.
You can recycle the following items at this event:
- Computer monitors and televisions (No console TVs, please)
- Laptop and desktop computers
- Fax machines
- Desktop printers (including those that scan/fax/copy)
- Computer peripherals (keyboards, mice, modems, hard drives, etc.)
- VCRs, DVRs, DVD players and other players
- e-readers
This is the second year the Brewers and Waste Management are teaming up to make recycling free and easy. Fans recycled more than 42,000 pounds of computers and other gadgets at last year’s inaugural event.
