FBI looking for two serial bank robbery suspects

SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN -- The FBI is now involved in the search for two serial bank robbers. FBI officials say the two suspects are responsible for a string of bank robberies across the state, and beyond. They're asking for the public's help to locate these criminals.

Officials say the suspects do not display weapons when they go into banks. They say the suspects provide a note to the teller, demanding money.

The first suspect is described as a white man, between 5'8" and 5'10" tall, with a thin build. Officials say he is believed to have a deformity or some sort of disability in his left hand.

FBI officials say that suspect's crime spree covers the eastern part of the state, beginning in Kenosha on April 23rd. The suspect then hit banks in West Bend, Fond du Lac, the Village of Richfield, Hartford and Westfield.

The suspect's getaway car is described as a 1990s Plymouth Voyager or Dodge Caravan style minivan. Witnesses describe it as being green, with a purple or maroon roof.

Officials say the second suspect doesn't display a weapon, but passes a note to the teller threatening to harm him or her with a weapon.

That suspect is accused of hitting 10 banks, spanning three states -- starting with an Associated Bank branch in Middleton last September, and an M&I Bank and U.S. Bank.

Most of this suspect's crimes are concentrated in western Wisconsin.

Officials say this suspect will often wear a baseball cap and sunglasses to disguise his appearance and typically drives a silver Toyota Carola or similar vehicle.
