DOT provides quick fix to buckling Brown Deer Rd.

BROWN DEER -- The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has provided a temporary fix to the buckling asphalt found in the two left lanes of eastbound W. Brown Deer Rd. near N. 51st St.

The buckling of the roadway created unsafe conditions for drivers starting Friday afternoon.

Work crews have ground down the raised areas for now and will return on Monday, July 9th to repave the damaged area.

Because of the temporary fix, all lanes of eastbound Brown Deer Rd. have reopened to traffic.
