Judge denies motion to dismiss case against Timothy Russell
Timothy Russell (6-4-12)
MILWAUKEE — A judge denied a motion to dismiss the case against Timothy Russell — a former aide to Gov. Scott Walker when he was Milwaukee’s County Executive. Russell is accused of stealing thousands of dollars intended for veterans while working for Walker.
Russell’s attorney, who filed the motion to dismiss the case, says the state has not shared all evidence with them, and that Russell wasn’t granted a speedy trial.
The trial is scheduled to begin September 10th.
