Two Brown Deer shopping centers purchased in $37 million deal

BROWN DEER -- Two neighboring shopping centers on Green Bay Road in Brown Deer just fetched $37 million.

The centers are anchored by Pick 'N Save and Kohl's, and were bought by national real estate investors out of New York and Ohio.

The $37 million price tag is the highest paid for an area shopping strip in the past two years.

The two centers share a property line, and are located near the corner of Green Bay and Brown Deer Roads, and are almost completely leased.

Shoppers shouldn't expect to see any noticeable changes under the new ownership.
