Seeing Red, Brewers Fall In Cincinnati, 6-2

CINCINNATI-  The Brewers made a bad first impression Saturday night in Cincinnati.  They were behind 4-nothing after the first inning after the Reds got to Yovani Gallardo, and the outcome of the game was never really in doubt.  Mlwaukee wound up losing, 6-2, to fall nine and half games behind the first place Reds in the National League Central division.

Travis Ishikawa scored both Brewers runs, one of them on a Corey Hart single and the other on a double play grounder by Aramis Ramirez.  Cincinnati's Ryan Ludwick and Brandon Phillips hit homers.

The Brewers have basically spun their wheels against Pittsburgh, St. Louis and Cincinnati after the All-Star break, putting the onus on General Manager Doug Melvin to determine the future course of the season and the current roster.
