OSHKOSH (AP) — The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department says a plane crashed while arriving at EAA’s Airventure in Oshkosh.

The department says a descending plane hit some parked trucks on the airport grounds just before 4:30 p.m. Saturday, July 21st. The pilot and his passenger were transferred to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Officials closed the airport to all landings for about two hours after the crash.
