Average gas price $3.47 per gallon in Milwaukee area

MILWAUKEE — Average gas prices in the Milwaukee area have risen 1.6 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.47  per gallon on Sunday, July 22nd.

This compares with the national average that has increased 4.9 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.49 per gallon, according to gasoline price website MilwaukeeGasPrices.com.

Including the change in gas prices in Milwaukee during the past week, prices on Sunday, July 22nd were 27.2 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 6.7 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.

The national average has decreased 2.4 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 20.1 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.
