Motorcycle chase suspect subdued by CHP officer
COMMERCE, Calif. — Weaving in and out of traffic, cutting across multiple lanes of the Santa Ana Freeway. It at first appeared that a motorcycle rider had a jump on the police. At least until the biker met his match — a California Highway Patrol officer, also on a motorcycle.
According to the highway patrol, the chase started when the rider failed to yield.
At times, the biker was going more than a hundred miles an hour, blowing through stop signs and traffic lights.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said it helped tracked the motorcycle by helicopter until the cyclist was stopped.
