In business news for Thursday, July 26th, 2012 — Walker’s Point restaurant La Merenda is getting a new patio, lounge and outdoor bar. Work began last week on the $350,000 project.

Additionally, the new Twisted Fisherman Crab Shack opens at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 27th on Canal Street, just west of the 6th Street viaduct.
