Fundraiser held to remember 20-year-old man shot, killed

MILWAUKEE -- A special fundraiser was held Sunday, July 29th to remember 20-year-old Michael Trevino, who was shot and killed earlier this month on the city's southside.

Trevino was killed July 21st when a car with two men shot him outside a house on 23d and Orchard.

Sunday, some of his friends held a car wash and sold food outside 'Tint Boyz Window Tinting on 27th and Lincoln.

The fundraiser raised money for Trevino's family to help pay his funeral costs.

"Any money the family forked out, we are helping them pay it back. The majority is going to his funeral costs that he does have to help finish paying it off," family friend Kimberly Reil said.

Police are still looking for the suspects who shot and killed Trevino.
