Police search for thieves who fired shots at motorcycle rider

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police need your help to identify a couple of thieves who fired shots at a man, striking the man's motorcycle.

The victim was working as a security guard at a business near 26th & Kilbourn on July 25th. Around 8:40 p.m., surveillance video shows two men removing some items from the man's motorcycle. 

Someone inside the business told the victim about this -- and he got on his motorcycle and tracked down the suspects near 26th and Highland. When he confronted the alleged thieves, one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and fired four shots at the victim. The shots missed the victim, but struck his motorcycle and a vehicle nearby.

The suspects are described as black men, both about 5'7" tall with medium builds. One suspect was wearing a white baseball cap with a white t-shirt, black jeans and black shoes. The second suspect was wearing a white tank top, black jean shorts and had buck teeth with a gap.
