Daniel Schmidt enters not guilty pleas to multiple charges

WAUKESHA -- Daniel Schmidt pleaded not guilty on Thursday, August 2nd to multiple criminal charges including child pornography, maintaining a drug trafficking place and manufacturing and delivering THC.

Schmidt waived his right to a preliminary hearing -- and was bound over for trial. The judge in this case set a hearing date of August 14th.

Schmidt had earlier pleaded not guilty on Friday, June 15th to second degree sexual assault of a child. This, for allegedly meeting and having sexual contact with a 13-year-old boy. That alleged contact prompted a partial shutdown of Skout.com, a social networking site.
