James Gardetto found guilty, faces 12 years in prison

WAUKESHA — A former TV repairman, James Gardetto faces 12 years in prison after he was convicted Monday, August 13th in Waukesha County court.

FOX6’s Contact 6 has been following the case against Gardetto for years. He is accused of engaging in unfair trade practices.

Former customers say he came to their homes and demanded hundreds of dollars before doing any work.

Investigators say he lied about his business location and lied to customers about their property.

Gardetto will be sentenced October 22nd.
