Police locate missing, kidnapped woman with Down Syndrome
MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police say a 22-year-old woman with Down Syndrome, missing after reportedly being kidnapped by her mother’s estranged husband, has been located.
The woman is okay, but is shaken up due to her stepfather’s reckless driving, according to police.
Police say 44-year-old Tonnie Tolliver rammed the police squad car that attempted to stop him. The officers were not injured.
Police say Tolliver had a prior criminal history was well as a warrant for failure to maintain his sex registry.
Authorities say Kiara Freeman was taken Tuesday, August 14th from a home near 82nd and Capitol.
Freeman is being examined at the hospital.
