Jermichael Finley “proud papa” as wife gives birth to baby

CINCINNATI — Green Bay Packers Tight End Jermichael Finley will not be joining the team Thursday night, August 23rd as they take on the Cincinnati Bengals. Finley announced via Twitter his wife gave birth to a baby Thursday.

Finley’s Tweet said: “Proud Papa! Wishing my team the best tonight…But Team Fin had a bit of a surprise arrival today!”

Finley’s wife, Courtney Finley Tweeted: “London Dash William Finley is here! So blessed and complete. Thank you all for your blessings. We couldn’t be happier.”

The Green Bay Packers take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Cincinnati for their third preseason game Thursday, August 23rd. The teams will face off at Paul Brown Stadium at 6:00 p.m. Thursday. The Packers are 0-2 in the preseason — falling to the Cleveland Browns and the San Diego Chargers.
